Considering Renting a Home?
1. Are you unfamiliar with or possibly planning to move from the area you live in within the next 2 years?
2. Is your income inconsistent so you wouldn’t qualify for a loan?
3. Do you not have at least $1,000 saved for a down payment or home repairs?
4. Do you not have time or energy to do home/ yard maintenance?
5. Would you like sell your house to take advantage of the equity you have in it, but want to “wait out” the market to see if it drops down/waiting on something specific to happen within the next 2 years?
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, temporarily renting wouldn’t be a stupid decision for you.

Save money.
Interview lenders.
Interview realtors.
